Thunderclan's camp is located in a stone hollow, enclosed by tall cliffs to keep out predators. These cliffs not only serve as protection, but can also be used as a secret entrance in addition to the main entrance, the thorn barrier. In the center of camp, there is a tall rock, the Highledge, used by leaders to call clan meetings. The rest of the dens sorround the camp in various crevices and crevices in the rocky walls of the cliffs.

Shadowclan's camp is located in a hollow, deep within the pine forest that sorrounds the camp. Because of the pine and the marsh that sorrounds the camp, Shadowclan 's territory is usually on muddy ground, with the camp being sorrounded by a wall of sharp brambles, to prevent predators from attacking. Entering and exiting camp is found in the form of the thorn tunnel that serves as the entrance and exit. Shadowclan's highrock is a boulder at the edge of camp, where the leader stands to call clan meetings.

Riverclan camp is an drained island that was once a small lake. The entire camp is sorrounded by reeds, and the only entrance present is the small stream that leads from the main lake to the camp. The only way to enter Riverclan camp is by swimming, and this presents itself to be an advantage when other clans want to attack Riverclan. The only downside to this is that there is a very high possibility of the island flooding in the event of a flood.

Windclan camp is located in a sandy hollow, with virtually no trees, to allow the agile cats of Windclan as much room as possible to hunt and patrol borders. The camp is sorrounded by gorse, and the only entrance to their camp is a gorse tunnel. The only disadvantage to having no trees in their territory is that Windclan cats find it hard to climb trees. The camp is surrounded by tall, sandy hills as well.

The island, situated in the middle of the lake, is where the Clans meet in peace every full moon for a Gathering. Originally, it was not planned to be such a public place, because of its hard to reach area (minus RiverClan, who can swim), but a fallen tree created a bridge between Clan territory and the island. No Clan is allowed to live here, though RiverClan have spent time residing on this island due to flooding in their territory. The leaders each sit on branches of a large tree, which sits in the center of a clearing surrounded by a thick rim of other trees, which protect the island. In this clearing, Clan cats mingle and make friends, and boundaries are ignored.
